At last, after 4 months of passivity and uncertainty in the cycling world, the 2020-season continues with a packed racing program, following the unavoidable hiatus since mid-March due to the corona-virus.
Although the sport has been quiet on the roads, it has been the complete opposite backstage. Team manager Steffen Kromann explains:
“It has been a tough year so far both for our team and the sport in general. We’ve suffered some losses in our group of sponsors and we’re working day and night to keep the ship afloat for 2021.”
“We’re focusing on the road ahead and we’ll do all we can to finish strong in what remains of the 2020-season. We still have a great racing program for the rest of the season, and I believe we can still make this a good year for the team.”
The 1st of August, Riwal Readynez Cycling Team take up the reins against the biggest teams and riders in the world, when we once again put our tyres against the asphalt in the French stage race La Route d’Occitanie starting this Saturday.
