The UCI is closing down races until the end of April for the time being

Covid19 continues its ravage through Europe and the rest of the world. We all have a responsibility to stop the spread of virus. That is why we fully agree with the UCI in their decision to shut down all races – for the time being until the end of April. All scheduled races during the period will be either cancelled or postponed indefinitely. UCI informs us that they expect the season may be extended until 1 November 2020.

Cycling stands for fascinating feats, about leaving something behind you, continuing forward and climbing upwards, about finding the moment and striking at the right moment. For now, the sport has to wait, and the moment will come back.

As a result of the UCI's announcement, we have also received a press release from the Amstel Gold Race organization with the announcement that the traditional race of the year, which should be held on 17-18 April, has been cancelled.  Unfortunately, this means that our network trip to the Amstel Gold Race has been cancelled as well. We continue to await the Danish Governments recommendations regarding the trip to Treviso in May.

We are all affected by the extremely serious situation, but we have a firm belief that in our strong network we can and will help each other through this crisis in the best possible way.
