With no time trial and five hilly stages in this year’s Tour de Luxembourg, the race is shaping up to be one of the hardest editions in recent years. Riwal Securitas brings a strong team of riders ready to chase results!

”It’s an interesting team we’re here with on an interesting course. Everyone are in good shape and has made good results in this second half of the season, so we’re expecting to be contending in front of this race, and hopefully by Saturday we’ll have one or two guys up there in the GC”, says sports director Michael Blaudzun ahead of the race.

Already today on the first stage of the race we’ll get the first signs of who the top riders of this year’s Tour de Luxembourg will be, as the peloton finishes up a tough 1,5 kilometer climb in the final.

”It’s a tough competition here and today we’ll see who has the legs. We have four guys here who can definitely do something in the overall, when they perform to their top level, so I think we will be able to fight at the top”, ends Michael Blaudzun.
