“We’re ready to race”, says sports director Michael Blaudzun ahead of the race. “We’re going to ride aggressively from day one and take our chances whenever we can to aim for some good stage results throughout the race. We’re not too concerned with the overall classification; the peloton taken in consideration.”

The third stage of the race offers no less than three big mountains, whilst the remaining three stages all consists of hilly terrain, with chances for the fast sprinters as well.

”There are some fast guys here as well, especially with Elia Viviani, Coquard and Bonifazio, but we also have one the fastest guys in the peloton in Arvid De Kleijn”, says Michael Blaudzun.

“It’s been a strange time the last couple of months, where we haven’t been able to work like normal, so we haven’t had contact with the riders, but I’m sure they’ve upheld their training and are ready to race again. They’re very professional and I’m not concerned about that at all. We’re ready”.

The 7 riders from Riwal Readynez starting tomorrow are: Andreas Kron, Emil Vinjebo, Nick van der Lijke, August Jensen, Christoffer Lisson, Piotr Havik, Arvid De Kleijn.
