Third stage of this year’s Tour de Luxembourg came down to another bunch sprint, where a demonstration of great team work once again delivered a great result by the Riwal Securitas riders, as Norwegian August Jensen sprinted to 6th.

“The guys did some great work again today. They stuck to the plan throughout the day, and were ready to follow any significant attacks”, says sports director Michael Blaudzun. “In the end it came down to a sprint, and the guys did a great job in delivering August in the sprint - especially Martijn as the last man for August.”

With August Jensen, James Shaw and Andreas Kron all still in the mix for the overall classification, the team enters the final two days of the race in a good position to go for a GC result.

“The race changes pace now and goes into the final two hard stages. We’re ready to try and make some more good results in the coming days after a good start to this race”, ends Michael Blaudzun.
