After four stages and a prologue Tour de Luxembourg ended today with another tough final where Rasmus Quaade and Kim Magnusson just fell short on the last kilometers in the final and ended 19th and 21st on the stage - Magnusson ended 23rd in the overall classification.
“In the end we had hoped for more going home from this race”, says directeur sportif Michael Blaudzun. “It was a tough race and unfortunately we didn’t have what it took to be in the top contention for the overall. But we did get some good stage results though.”
Stage 2 and 3 saw the best results from the team where Nicolai Brøchner sprinted to a 6th in a tough final and Rasmus Quaade climbed his way also to a 6th place on the queen stage of the race.
“Now we’re off to new goals and next up is the Baloise Belgium Tour”, ends Michael Blaudzun.
In Course de la Paix where Andreas Kron, Andreas Stokbro and Mathias Norsgaard rode with the Danish national team, Kron finished the race today with a 9th spot sending him to a spot as 15th in the overall classification.
