The Italian one-day race GP Industria & Artigianato is an annual event since 1967 held in Larciano, Italy, though it wasn't ridden in the year 2015. In 2005 it was introduced as a UCI race as part of the UCI Europe Tour.
Previous winners include legendary classics riders such as Roger de Vlaeminck and Francesco Moser whilst Italian Gianni Faresin holds the record of three wins.
"It's going to be a tough race", says directeur sportif Michael Skelde. "We're up against teams coming directly from Strade Bianche, but we're going to approach it like we always do, and aim for the best possible result we can get."
Last year's winners:
2018: Matej Mohoric (Bahrain-Merida)
2017: Adam Yates (Orica-Scott)
2016: Simon Clarke (Cannondale)
